We got a box of 4 Hellofresh meals this week so that means we are making some new recipes! We liked that they increased the amount of meals you can get since now we do not have to go to the store as much and it makes the price point more doable. The first recipe we always make is the fish one so we made this Salmon recipe tonight. It was a lot of ingredients that I had cooked before but they used some different methods. For the couscous, instead of cooking it in a pot, it recommended boiling water and then pouring that into a bowl with the couscous. I did like this method, as it did not get the pot dirty! Then once the veggies and the couscous were cooked, you laid the salmon over the top and put a top on the pan to steam it. This created some really nice flavors that you do not get when cooking the ingredients separately. Andrew decided to spice up the Greek yogurt they gave us for a sauce. He mixed it with lemon juice, olive oil and a few spices to take it to the next level. It really tied the dish together and cooled it a bit from the chili being mixed in. We liked this recipe a lot, and it opened our eyes to more cooking methods.
