A Day in Washington DC

Andrew and I took a Mid-Atlantic trip for Memorial Day weekend. Our friend was getting married so we decided to go up there and explore some nearby duties. Andrew is from Northern DC so he was excited to go to some of his old favorite places. We started out the trip by heading there and getting the delicious tacos at District Taco.
This picture does not do them justice-they are amazing! I got one steak and two amazing El Pastor which was pork and pineapple. Then we were off to meet Andrews friend from high school, Kirk and his girlfriend and her friend.
I had never seen the white house before so we walked by there. It was cool to see where most of the presidents have lived. Maybe some day I will take a tour!
Then we went to the bullpen to hang out before the Nats game. It was getting cooler out so we enjoyed the pregame atmosphere. Andrew was very excited to see his favorite team play.

We had pretty good seats in left field. We definitely could see most of the action! For dinner, Lauren knew the best nachos and they lived up to the expectations!

These were so much better than average baseball game nachos! They had delicious queso and even half an avocado on them! I devoured these things. The Nationals ended up losing but it was still a fun game! We got to see Bryce Harper hit a home run so that was exciting. We planned to go out after but we were exhausted. It was a great first day of our trip.
